This is a collection of the most frequent
questions we hear from our customers.
1. I forgot my username and/or password, can you help?
In order to log into your personal website at MyDVshop.com
you must have your username and password. If you don’t know
your username, just email us from the
Contact Us
page and verify your email and billing address that we have
on record, and we will be happy to provide it to you.
If you forgot your password, just follow the instructions on
the Contact
Us page: The password will be emailed to the
email address of record on the account.
2. What are the
limits on video length?
When we encode your videos, we encode them for 30 minutes in
length. If you have supplied us with a home video that runs
for longer than 30 minutes, we will break that video up into
30 minute clips. Your video clips will be available from the
drop down menu on the VIDEO page of your personal website.
3. I want to send a
link out to an album on my website, Is this possible?
Yes, it is possible. However, MyDVshop.com does not
recommend sending direct links to your video or photo album
pages. You should request that all friends and family
members log-in with your username and password. Note:
For security reasons most pages on MyDVshop.com will not be
available without submitting a username and password.
4. I would like
to create categories of videos and photo albums, such as
“family,” “travel,” etc. Can I do this?
Yes, when submitting your video tapes, DVD's, and digital
photos to MyDVshop.com you may specify the category names
and titles of your videos and photo albums.
Currently, MyDVshop.com does not allow changing video and
photo category or names after they have been posted to the
website.
5. Can I download
photos or videos?
Currently, you can only download photos from your
MyDVshop.com website.
